.: Welcome to UAA!

After a long hiatus, and our site having gone down the past month, we're proud to say that we're finally back. This is now the OFFICIAL WEB SITE OF THE UNITED AIRSOFT ALLIANCE (UAA). We decided to migrate due to technical problems which have now been resolved.

Just like before, our ranks are still intact all all dormant and inactive members are now being recalled for re-enlistment.

We have a number of projects lined-up for the second half of the year so please stay tuned here for further announcements.

As we have stressed before and repeat now, it's the PEOPLE who make up the web site and breathe warmth into the site, which is a mere inanimate object. It is the members who give life to the online community. It's great to be home again among family members for one big reunion.

From the UAA Family, we bid everyone a warm welcome.

UAA History

We all started as airsoft players. In May 2005 a fellow player by the name of "Kirk" was apprehended and detained for illegal possession of airsoft guns. From his detention in Camp Crame, Kirk was being charged with illegal possession of firearms. Fallujah, then president of PROGUN, responded to the frantic call of Kirk and eventually got him out of detention the same day. His airsoft guns however were confiscated. Intrigued that airsoft guns could be classified as true firearms, Fallujah posted that very same day on ACM and FAS boards the incident, and a warning to all airsofters. Eventually, a meeting was held with Sonwar (Sonny Lim), and Boy Francisco VP of Progun (a non-player) to remedy the anomaly in the PNP rules which classified airsoft guns as true firearms. A meeting was posted and called which was held in Pioneer Grill Mandaluyong. At that first meeting five additional people showed up: Ramrod, Church, Cerialkiller, Junji (president of PNAS), and Almighty. Three additional weekly meetings were held thereafter for discussion of the proposal of Progun to file a petition with the PNP-Fed with airsoft teams and players co-signing the document. Each week, the group grew to 20, 40, and eventually 70 attendees. No particular affiliation dominated, as the attendeed came from a multitude of different teams (some with long standing enmity), veterans and newbies, and curious lonewolves. Minutes of each meeting were posted in fas and acm boards for regional and provincial teams to be able to participate, which they did in droves...
